Michael & Tamy purchased this property for their growing family with the intention to knock down and rebuild immediately.
This family wanted a feature filled special home that could accommodate their children, business, and lifestyle.
It was important that they could work with a builder who had the capacity to handle the design, approval and construction process. Flexibility was also important as they wanted their own unique ideas to be included.
Michael needed a large storage area for his business equipment and the family was growing so a substantial sized home was needed complete with an entertainment area and children’s play area. The block size was only 560m2.
After assessing the site, we suggested an approval through Complying Development where a 50m2 outbuilding (for garaging and storage) could be approved at the rear, and a 2 storey, 4-bedroom home at the front with driveway access to the rear from the right side.
Michael and Tamy worked with our designers to come up with the final floor plan and elevations and the Vivo team engaged the consultants to prepare documentation for a quick CDC approval (Complying Development Approval via a Private Certifier).
Once final plans and documentation was complete, Vivo Homes were able to provide an extensive quote listing all the inclusions and a detailed Material & Colour Schedule itemizing every single item to be installed. After working with us to this point, Michael and Tamy could see that we cared and that we could get the job done easily.
Start day was exciting. The Demolition contractor rocked up early and the old home was removed. The concrete foundation was quickly laid and the timber frame complete all within a few weeks. Now Michael and Tamy could see their home shaping up.
During each stage of Design, Approval and Construction, Michael and Tamy could track the progress and access files through their very own portal which meant that they didn’t have to check on the site every day, although they drove by out of pure excitement.

Michael & Tamy love their new home. The handover process was heartfelt and emotional as their dream became reality.
